Description |
| The Product Manager is responsible
for the product planning and execution throughout the product
lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and
customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working
closely with development, sales, marketing and support to ensure
revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager
will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new
ideas based on his/her industry experience and his/her contact with
customers and prospects. He/she must possess a unique blend of
business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to
make that vision a reality. The Product Manager's job also includes
ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy
and goals. |

Responsibilities |
• Define product strategies and roadmap.
• Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product.
• Specifying market requirements; in writing, for current and future
products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to
customers and non customers.
• Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.
• Play an active role in the software lifecycle process.
• Manage multiple projects at any given time.
• Brief and train the sales force and training force on new products and
existing product enhancements.
• Seek feedback from Support Brand Manager on progress of BETA sites,
and act on open items accordingly.
• Lead a small team of Business Analysts.
• Act as a leader within the company.
• Other duties as assigned. |

Requirements |
• Knowledge in hotel technology.
• 3+ years of experience in a hotel operations position.
• Excellent teamwork, leadership, communication (verbal and written),
and organizational skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint).
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal
authority.
• Must be able to travel 10% of the time.
• Hotel or Business degree preferred.
• Previous Product Management experience in a hotel related field a
plus. |
