Description |
| The Manager of Implementations leads
the team that provides high-impact training experiences to all MSI
customers. He/She formulates the strategy and vision for the team,
directs the design and rollout of training programs across the
organization, participates in the delivery of training when
appropriate, and builds the infrastructure to support expanded
training for MSI customers and associates.This role ensures that all
training initiatives provides personal growth for participants as
well as improve business performance, strengthen organizational
capacity, and leverage best practices across MSI to drive business
success. |

Responsibilities |
Strategy Development. Develops and implements
highly effective training and installation strategies that align with
the overall strategic plan of MSI, support specific company initiatives,
and build greater capability throughout the organization at all levels.
Builds executive level buy-in and engagement in training strategies.
Team Leadership. Hires, leads, and mentors the implementations
team. Coaches team members to build their capabilities to better serve
our customers.
Strategic Needs Assessment. Regularly conducts internal and
external research to surface evolving implementation needs. Works with
the team to research, pilot, and implement cost-effective training
options as new training needs are identified.
Infrastructure. Refines implementation processes as needed.
Program and Content Development. Reviews training curricula and
content for all MSI products to ensure it aligns with updated
functionality, the overall training program objective and key messages
for MSI. Ensures that training solutions are consistent and integrated
across training teams and client groups.
Coaching and Facilitation. Provides developmental coaching to
all implementation team members to increase their personal effectiveness
and develop their training style and skills. Facilitate strategic
sessions within the training and installation team as needed.
Measurement. Evaluates the success of training programs and
processes over time. Works with the team to implement changes to
continually increase the programs business impact on MSI and personal
impact on those participating. |

Requirements |
Minimum of 3 years of management experience in hotel
operations, hotel technology and/or training & development.
Bachelors degree in hotel management, business, or related field.
Degree can be offset with previous training experience in hospitality/
technical industry.
Strong sense of urgency, an eye for detail, the confidence to handle a
variety of challenges, a full commitment to the success of the business,
and high standards of achievement are expected in this position.
Strong ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions.
Must have the ability to get tasks done quickly while handling a variety
of activities.
Demonstrated leadership style that is firm and goal oriented, and yet
motivates, trains, and engages others in an enthusiastic way is
important.
Visible emphasis on building rapport and relationships with
individuals and groups requires an outgoing, poised and persuasive
communication style.
Proven ability to learn quickly and thoroughly while continually
recognizing and adapting to changing conditions is critical.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation
skills. Executive-level verbal and written communication skills. Strong
analytical skills and the ability to think systematically.
Working knowledge of MSI products a plus.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Willingness to travel (10-15% travel may be required) |
