Barbara Simmons, Implementation Support Specialist

It has been fourteen years since Barbara began working with Multi-Systems, Inc., bringing with her over eight years of experience working in the hotel industry. She has been employed in the areas of housekeeping, front desk management, and night audit, leading to the installation and support of many property management systems.

Currently, Barbara is involved with several departments, and has held the positions of CAC Support Specialist, 2nd Level Support Technician, and Interface Product Manager. She has now found a home with the Implementation Team and supports the day-to-day needs of all the MSI Trainers.

Rick Rivera, Implementation Support Specialist

With 12 years of valuable experience in hotels ranging from Banquet Server to Revenue Manager, and a whole lot in between, Rick joined MSI as a Training & Installation Specialist in 2003. Later, Rick was among the first to install the 2-way CRS interface for Best Western. After more than 120 installations, he moved into his current role in the Training Department assisting his fellow Trainers with technical support.

When not spending time with his two dogs, Bruno & Gidget, Rick enjoys restoring his 1973 Porsche, hiking through & photographing Arizona’s spectacular natural beauty, and listening to his 600+ collection of vinyl record albums.

Polli Hubbard, Implementation Coordinator

Polli Hubbard joined MSI in late 1998 as a Customer Service Technician. She left in 2001 for a side trip on life’s journey to New Hampshire. Along with her technical duties, she teaches customer service phone-skills to new hires, and was instrumental in creating the new position of Pre-implementation Coordinator.

Polli has an extensive background in customer service. She retired from the historical "Telephone Company" after working 25 years for various Bell Operating Companies around the country. Polli's experience extends into management, collections, employee motivation, and public relations. After retiring, she started a second career where she worked as crew and sales for a Wind Jammer company that sails expeditions in upper Lake Michigan and Canada. She then ran the front desk at Zion National Park near the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Her hospitality career also includes working several positions at independent hotels. Polli has lived in Arizona, Maryland, Michigan, and New Hampshire.

Originally from Minnesota, Polli now lives in Chandler with her geriatric dog, Luci B. (15), and cat Sophi (19). Her spare time is spent reading, going to the gym, walking dogs, and sharing a home with long-time friends.
