NovaPlus

NovaPlus combines a fully featured property management system with a fully integrated rates management system. Offered exclusively to Best Western members or management companies with a Best Western in their portfolio, NovaPlus was built to provide the best tools available to assist properties to increase revenue in conjunction with the Best Western Two-Way interface. At 450 properties and growing, NovaPlus is one of the most popular Property Management systems offered to Best Western properties. NovaPlus offers a variety of interfaces, including a credit card interface to Southern Data Com, allowing your property maximum flexibility in choosing your credit card processor.

Modules include: Reservations, Operations, History/frequent stay, Accounts Receivable, Travel Agent, Group sales, Configuration module, and managers module.

Nova Plus’s unique design relationship with Best Western is a huge advantage for this product, offering features such as:

• The Revenue Management “Quick Update” functionality—a completely interactive piece that allow the user a calendar view of current status and the ability to change the allocations—restrictions and rate tiers from the same screen.
• Use the “click for legend” feature to easily access a map of the information on the quick update screen. With Nova Plus you won’t have to hunt for ways to increase your revenue: the system will make these decisions easy to implement!
• The Rooms Allocation screen in Nova Plus contains all the information necessary to make a decision about allocating a block for a rate including Inventory, Rooms Allocated, Rooms Sold, Remaining Allocation, and Available Rooms.
• Use the Rooms Allocation to monitor a rate code, this screen not only allows you to see where you stand, but lets you make the change. In the fast paced world of hotel operations, where interruptions are inevitable, be sure that your PM system puts ease of use first—don’t settle for hunting inventory information to enter elsewhere!
• With the Two-Way interface you will be able to add a CRS sourced reservation to groups or shares. This will protect the integrity of the original reservation information, and reduce user input formerly required on the 1.5 interface.
• Discount rates are very versatile in NovaPlus; discounts can be applied using any rate as the base rate, and you can have a Nova Plus discount rate update Member Web with actual amounts, so you can administrate discounts from your PMS to Member Web. You can even set up a discount as a dollar amount, instead of a percentage.
• The NovaPlus allows shoulder date reservations for group. Using multi segment reservations, the system automatically creates the messages to host that will split the reservation on the host side, so that the inventory within the group is protected and the rate and market segments quoted remain intact.
